this song is a love letter to me, to you- to us all. we are just as in harmony as the wildflowers. we needn't cling to identities or worry over what we'll become. we grow just as a bud inevitably blooms. how stressful it would be to think ourselves a bud as we unravel in our transformation. not knowing is a part of knowing, trusting is part of growing, just as the seed navigates through darkness. the wildflowers open and close for the sun and we open and close for love, responding and reacting to one another as one body admist a beautiful dance.

we woke up at 3a.m. to film this video on arapahoe glacier trail in colorado. i'm blessed to have grown up here. whenever i feel lost, i escape to the woods where all is quiet. nothing is asked of you. there is madness all around. everything is competing for life, resource, food, territory, a mate. there is constant death and constant rebirth. there is violence. but nothing feels out of place, it is all perfectly so. and it reminds me that i am a perfect part of said perfect chaos.
